pay kindness forward

Educate & Inspire People to be a Catalyst to achieve United Nations 17th sustainable development goals by 2030

our vision

World Peace with Gracious Living & Harmony Regardless of Race, Language or Religion

who we are

“Pay Kindness Forward is a community set up by like-minded people with the intention to better the world with a BIG impact through one person’s SMALL act of kindness”

our inspiration

The formation of Pay Kindness Forward organization is inspired by an American drama film in 2000 directed by “Mimi Leder” known as “Pay It Forward”.

Pay It Forward is about the story of a social studies teacher who gives an assignment to his junior high school class to think of an idea to change the world for the better, then put it into action.

When one young student created a plan “paying forward” favors, he not only affects the life of his struggling single mother, but he sets in motion an unprecedented wave of human kindness, which unbeknown to him has blossomed into a profound phenomenon.

The Sustainable Development Goals are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all.

They address the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice. The 17 goals are all interconnected, and in order to leave no one behind, it is important that we achieve them all by 2030. #envision2030

GOAL 17 IS OUR MAIN FOCUS

In Pay Kindness Forward, we are focusing on Goal 17 of the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.

There is an African proverb that blend into our hearts and that is –

“If you want to fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”

We are connecting with like-minded people, not just in Singapore, but reaching out to Asia Pacific and around the globe to work come together as one united team.

We must come together and work hand in hand leveraging each other’s skills, talents, resources and knowledge to solve world’s biggest issues that we are currently facing right now.

We need everyone in a platform that we are building to come up with better solutions to eradicate world’s problems by 2030. Everyone including the Government, civil society, social clubs, religious ministries, scientists, innovators, thinkers, doers, academies, local institutes and most importantly YOU!

We are all in this together. The Agenda, with its 17 goals is universal and calls for action by all countries, both developed countries and developing countries, to ensure no one is left behind.

How to achieve SDG goal 17?

In order to achiever SDG Goal no. 17 optimally, we need to understand why The United Nations created this goal in the first place.

Revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development

The UN explainsA successful sustainable development agenda requires partnerships between governments, the private sector and civil society. These inclusive partnerships built upon principles and values, a shared vision, and shared goals that place people and the planet at the centre, are needed at the global, regional, national and local level.

The UN has defined 19 Targets and 25 Indicators for SDG 17. Targets specify the goals and Indicators represent the metrics by which the world aims to track whether these Targets are achieved. Below we quote the original text of all Targets and show the data on the agreed Indicators.

Click on this https://sdg-tracker.org/global-partnerships#targets to learn about the 19 Targets in detail and how you can be inspired to help further.

EXTERNAL ACTIONS:

  1. Establish public-private partnerships with civil society, the public sector, academia and other companies, to carry out projects that contribute to achieving the SDGs;

  2. Collaborate with other firms in the same industry, to research specific sectoral actions which can support the SDGs;

  3. Create tools and collaborative ventures;

  4. Implement international cooperation projects with other actors to promote the growth of developing countries;

  5. Participate in events and workshops to share best practices on SDGs;

  6. Invest in developing countries, expanding the business according to the principles of sustainability.

I first met Vivian a few years back in around 2015, when I was doing marketing for Neuro Code Research Pte Ltd (a local company doing right brain activation training for children and adults). Vivian is a very nice, friendly and approachable person. When you talk to her, you can feel the positive energy flowing from her and it would inspire you from the conversations that you have with her. What impacted me the most is her strong belief that you must find the passion in life and follow your passion, so that you can be a successful person. It is not easy to find your passion and it is definitely worth the effort. I strongly recommend Vivian to everyone. Please support Vivian and her life mission!

I knew Vivian few years back. She is someone who is full of passion in trying to change the world in her own little way. She has to balance making money and feeding the family as well as pursuing her dreams, however lofty they are. I’m with her, I believe that the sky is the limit. The world belongs to crazy people who think they can change the world for the better, and often it is that one crazy idea that helps make the world a better place. She is driven with her Mission and be the positive change in this world. You never know, a tiny spark can eventually become a huge fire to light up the world. Strongly recommended.

I met Dr Vivian Passion Koh on Facebook just when we had our Singapore lockdown. She started a FB Group, SG United, to help parents cope with the lockdown through collaborations online. As a coach, I thought it was a great idea and it allowed me to help more people and parents during these difficult times. We had a really amazing chat on the first round where I was able to know her more and what I discovered, is that she is a very compassionate and sincere lady who is dedicated to paying kindness forward. I am really blessed to meet her and I enjoy talking with her about topics of paying kindness forward, helping people, giving and receiving. She's definitely on top of it, and this is where we started working on an initiative in helping people. She took massive action in connecting people and even to the extent of forming a team to pay it forward as philanthropists. It is amazing how things move and falls into place when the intention is righteous and for everyone. So, thank you, Vivian you know it's been awesome to know you and I'm very looking forward to, do more things together. Thank you very much.

I met Miss Vivian during the IEC Vision Board Movement held in our school. For me she is a living testimony that symbolizes hope not just for me but also to my fellow dreamers. "ALL YOUR DREAMS WILL COME TRUE". Hearing those words from her made me feel that I can make a difference in achieving my dreams. It serves as a reminder for me that even though I'm still at the bottom part of my plans, I can still make it, through dreaming big and trusting God's plan.😊♥️ Thank you so much Miss Vivian ♥️
